Kipling Camp, Madhya Pradesh
Kipling Camp is an ideal destination for those who are interested in exploring the remote forest and villages. This wildlife camp is owned and run by a family and is the home of one the most famous Asian elephants in the world ‘Tara‘. The Camp has a library which offers a lot of wildlife and research books and novels and a volleyball court. It also has a small wildlife-theme shop which sells clothing, postcards, stickers, books, and local handicrafts.
Kipling Camp offers 2 to 4 room cottages with its separate verandah. Each cottage is equipped with double beds, coffee and tea making facility, modern western bathrooms with shower, heater and coolers or air conditioners. Camp Kipling provides 15 double rooms from which 11 are deluxe rooms (out of which four rooms have double beds), and 4 standard rooms with twin beds. You might also catch a glimpse of a Mottled Woodowl or a Giant Flying Squirrel in the forest around the Camp.
